ARCHITECTURAL AND INTERIOR JOURNEY
With its totally black entrance – a first among Henry Jacques’ boutiques – standing out among its neighbours, the boutique welcomes visitors into its warm and inviting interior, lined with the old oak panelling that is a Henry Jacques signature.
On entering, right in front of visitor’s eyes is the illuminated Corian perfume organ, the beating heart of Henry Jacques, representing the laboratory where its perfumes are created.
In the first lounge, two symmetrical Corian niches display the 50 perfumes of the ‘Les Classiques’ collection. Presented to visitors on a wood and Corian trolley, the 50 essences are ready to be discovered.
In the more intimate space of the second room, a beautiful oak console from the XVIII century showcases a bespoke chest. Alongside it, a vintage sofa from Marie’s Corner, complemented by hand-embroidered cushions and a hand-woven rug create a relaxed ambience that encourages visitors to take time and begin the conversation to explore the world of Henry Jacques.

Henry Jacques’ Tokyo boutique is at the centre of the city’s most glamorous neighbourhood. Built on the site of the city's Edo period (1603-1868) mint, the Ginza area is steeped in history and was an entirely natural choice for Henry Jacques’ first boutique in Japan. Imbued with a quiet and confident elegance, Ginza’s main street is home to several of Tokyo’s most prestigious department stores, and is renowned for outstanding service as well as the quality of products offered. The backstreets of Ginza offer a real adventure, with tiny but exquisite shops and bistros. Rather than resting on its reputation, Ginza is constantly evolving, offering cultivated modernity, and energy along with the charms of old Tokyo.

Tendresse is at once both playful and sophisticated, dark and light, sweet and spicy – Tendresse reflects the many-layered emotions of what it means to be human, in all our rich complexity and contradictions. Florals are folded with honey, while green, fresh, peppery nasturtium flower gives this perfume an edge of mystery and intrigue. Resins and woods in the perfume’s base summon cherished memories.
