Anne-Lise Cremona, daughter of Henry Jacques Cremona, wanted to keep her parents' olfactive library alive by sharing a part of it. That's how she purposefully delved into her family's olfactive library of 3000 scents to select the 50 fragrances that represent the best of Henry Jacques bespoke years and HJ's identity in all its facets. They are at the core of Maison and compose a timeless olfactive wardrobe that is available in the 10 Henry Jacques boutiques around the world.
All of these fragrances were made independently, in HJ's own laboratory and atelier, respectfully to the tradition, using ancestral extraction methods, preserving the raw materials to take the most of it. HJ does what it takes to always be at the height of what nature offers and makes no compromise on quality.
Their multitude triggers the urge to collect them, so much some are hoping from a boutique to an other to collect Les Exclusives, the regional exclusivities, part of Les Classiques collection.

The main entry to hj’s art de vivre philosophy
Through Les Classiques, HJ also offers its vision of perfume's purpose, an Art-de-Vivre composed of many fragrances in many variations, making perfume interchangeable and mobile, with the help of Clic-Clac, HJ Voyage and Les Boîtes à parfums.
This Art-de-Vivre brings perfume at the center of daily lives. As a source of knowledge, sometimes empowering other reassuring, answering the need to be more, to be unique, to express personalities. With perfume along their side, people are then able to play with time, feeding on nostalgia, seeing the present differently, escaping to distant lands or near futures.

Les Classiques iconic variation
The launch of Les Classiques in their iconic variation Les Essences was accompanied by the opening of the very first HJ boutiques in Harrods in 2008 and it was a tremendous success.
Their smooth, thick, or even crystallized textures and warm colors testifies HI's unique savoir-faire and spoke for themselves: nature at its best, unadulterated, alive. "One drop and only one" is enough to awaken these precious Essences.
A timeless but distinctive flacon to enhance perfume
Housed in timeless but distinctive crystal glass flacons, Les Essences are revealing their infinite nuances in a unique interplay of light and shadow, brilliance and transparency, thanks to the work of Christophe Tollemer who designed them.
Inspired by refined architecture and symmetry, inclination, corner, and detail were meticulously considered.
The design was also thought as a perfume enhancer. The flacon displays and celebrates the perfume without distracting, like an elegant picture frame on a beautiful painting. That's also the reason why there is only one design for all Les Essences. Perfume is king.
The flacon also fits perfectly in the hand, it was thought to be manipulated intimately, as a charm, a comforter.
A forgotten ritual resurrected
Les Essences are rejuvenating a forgotten and yet distinguished intimate ritual: the sensorial gesture of applying the precious fragrance right on the skin with a crystal rod, restoring all its carnal presence.

Reinventing a living heritage
Les Brumes collection was born of a pairing between the uncompromising demands of high perfumery and some of the latest trends and rituals.
Indeed, diffusing with a spray has become second nature in the market, so Henry Jacques has long sought to bring meaning to this gesture, wishing to infuse it with a refinement and precision in accordance with the Maison.
A feat of engineering
After much research, in 2019 the Maison created Les Brumes, which transformed the practice that has become almost mechanical into a sensory immersion of delicate precision. The easy-going casualness of a gesture has once again become a precious ritual, a moment for oneself.
For this, the Maison has multiplied the scientific tests on the dispersal capacity of perfumes in order to fully express the olfactory density of the juice. As for the spray, it has benefited from a feat of engineering to master an aerial distribution of the fragrance.
The perfect harmony between tradition, audacity and inventiveness that Henry Jacques sought to achieve with this collection, raises the art of perfuming to unprecedented heights.
