Around the perfume organ, we find ourselves lounging around, leafing through an art book, or sharing a coffee while admiring a primitive mask, an Ottoman cushion, or a lithograph by Calder. Far from a generic setup, each boutique is a refined sanctuary that has its own aura, with special touches and borrowings from local cultures.
One goes there as a friend and is not only welcomed but expected. A pleasure that has become so rare in busy lives.
