Upon entering the boutique, eyes are drawn to a striking perfume organ symbolising the historic Henry Jacques laboratory in the South of France.
Continuing through the space, visitors find an exquisitely crafted alcove displaying the Maison’s Essences.
A signature illuminated Corian wall niche housing the fifty ‘Les Classiques’ is the focal point of the graceful and comfortable lounge area. Here, visitors are invited to discover the collections in a sanctuary where they can forget the passing of hours and immerse themselves in the boundless allure of great perfumery.

Henry Jacques continues to honour its deep-rooted connections with the United Arab Emirates through the opening of its boutique in the country’s capital, Abu Dhabi. The chosen location is The Galleria Al Maryah Island, the emirate’s most exciting retail, culinary, entertainment and lifestyle hub, which houses the world’s most coveted luxury brands. Al Maryah Island is named after an oasis region in Abu Dhabi, which in turn is named after the Arabian Oryx, an indigenous species of antelope.

Dar Abu Dhabi evokes a pure and deep connection with local traditions as it summons the welcoming nostalgia of dehen el oudh. It opens with hints of saffron, iris and geranium, followed by Egyptian jasmine, dehen el oudh and Peruvian balsam at its core. Later, the amber, bourbon vanilla and cedarwood notes add a sweet woody touch.
Reves D’or was selected from the late Sheikh Zayed’s profound collection. The fragrance centres on a noble blend of saffron, sandalwood, rose damascenia and white musk, celebrating a beautiful encounter between the Emirati and French cultures. The saffron in the opening has an emotional and cultural resonance with soft earthy undertones.
Still is a seductive vanilla composition that draws together beautiful floral and woody elements. It opens with freesia, rose and bitter orange, leading to jasmine and teak wood at the heart . Then comes tonka bean, bourbon vanilla and sandalwood at the tail end. An intense blend that feels warm, opulent and distinct with each ingredient adding depth and character.
